Build relationships and a choral program with the big kids at North Cedar! The Cedar
Falls Community School District is seeking a Chorus Coach for the North Cedar
Elementary 5th and 6th grade choir. This is a stipend-based position reporting to the
building principal.

Key Components of the Position:
? Prepare and present two concerts annually — a Winter Concert and the All-City
Concert.
? Prepare students for Opus auditions and teach selected students required
repertoire (August–November).
? To audition and prepare students for 6th Grade Honors Chorus participation
(January–April).
? To work cooperatively and harmoniously with the elementary music team,
including attendance at monthly Zoom team meetings (Wednesdays at 3:15
p.m.).
Schedule

Flexible before or after school hours, with a season that runs from October through April, with Opus prep beginning in August.
