Drama Technical Director - Cedar Falls High School Responsibilities

Overview: To instruct and lead students in technical aspects of the schools drama production in the capacity of Drama Tech Head and develop a cohort of students who are trained to meet the demands of technical theater production and work effectively and positively as a team

Design sets for two full-length high school  productions

Lead set construction and coordinates with others working on the set

Coordinate the purchase of construction materials equipment for these spaces

Design and execute other technical elements of productions including lighting and sound

        Program and operate the lighting and sound equipment alongside students and other directors

Attend one technical week rehearsal and performances in order to supervise and assist in the technical aspect of the mounting of the show

Assist in maintaining a scene shop, auditorium, and the little theater as functional, safe, and organized work environments

Develop and maintain a working relationship with building and grounds crew to support auditorium, the little theater, and scene shop activities
